We’ve recently seen some of our third-party tech support customers who have a physical store that offers computer repairs, laptop repairs, monitors repairs and phone repair services from different cities have had their ads disapproved.

As you may or may not know, Google has decided to implement a global restriction on Third Party Tech Support ads without any obvious notification to advertisers.
So why the global ban? Why is this happening?
Google has been made aware that theres been an increase in third-party tech support and repair businesses who have been advertising misleading support and repair services, which end up being scams or dodgy repairs work.
The restriction is a global ban of all third-party companies who offer tech support or repairs from appearing in the Google SERP, Display network, YouTube, Gmail, and other Google advertising platforms.
Any business that is currently or going to advertise on Google will slowly see impressions and clicks drop, as Google ever so slowly disapproves your ads and basically kill your campaigns.

We completely understand that it’s unfair that your business has been affected when you’re a legitimate and honest tech support business. So, the good news is Google is going to allow third-party tech support businesses run ads once they are certified through their verification program. Okay. So the not-so-good news, currently Google hasn’t released any information about getting access to this program and when it will start.
